GeeCee Ventures Ltd, formerly known as Gwalior Chemical Industrial Limited, is a company founded by experienced entrepreneurs in the fields of manufacturing, construction, financial services, and trading. It was established in 1984 as a private limited company and is now publicly listed on the NSE (National Stock Exchange) of India Limited and BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) Limited. Initially, the company mainly focused on manufacturing and selling speciality chemicals, serving both domestic and international customers in industries like agrochemicals, paints, coatings, dyes, and flavour & fragrance. In September 2009, as part of a diversification strategy, the company transferred its primary manufacturing unit in Nagda, Madhya Pradesh, to Lanxess (India) Pvt Limited, a subsidiary of the German multinational Lanxess AG, for a total value of Rs 550 Crores. Following the transfer of the chemical business, the company's name was changed to GeeCee Ventures Limited. Today, GeeCee Ventures Ltd stands out as one of the few debt-free companies in India.
