A small-town boy making it big in the city of dreams is always a story worth a read! Kartik Aaryan, who hails from Gwalior, and comes from a humble background, has become a household name today. Holding an engineering degree, Kartik moved to Mumbai with a dream in his eyes. After a significant period of struggle, Kartik was finally noticed for his unique role and lengthy monologue in Pyar ka Punchnama. This was followed by a series of successful movies, which made him one of the emerging stars of Bollywood. 

However, one of his biggest box office successes was the 2018-buddy drama Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which is also considered to be his breakthrough movie. The actor further gained a lot of prominence as he starred in several other romantic comedies, such as Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh (both 2019). One of his recent hits was the comedy horror film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), the highest-grossing release of his career. Kartik has also tried some different genres and has even played the villain in thrillers Dhamaka (2021) and Freddy (2022).

Kartik Aaryan apartment was once home to Shahid Kapoor. The sprawling property spread over 3,681 sq. ft now has the Shehzada actor residing in it. On a 36-month lease, the Bollywood star has agreed to pay a monthly rent of ₹7.5 lakhs. However, this is only for the first year, and the rental will increase by 7% on a yearly basis. Also, according to sources, the actor paid Rs. 45 lakhs as a security deposit before shifting to Juhu from his Bandra apartment. 

Location and Infrastructure

The property is located in one of Mumbai's poshest areas – Juhu and is on the ground floor of the Praneta Building on Juhu Tara Road. The place offers unrestricted views of the Arabian Sea, where the actor can unwind after an exhausting day at work. Moreover,  Kartik Aaryan's House in Mumbai serves as the perfect bachelor pad with various spots that are perfect to host parties for friends.

Kartik Aaryan's new residence has a minimalistic style and is full of classic and timeless designs. And while Kartik's personality seems to be humourous and quirky, his choice of décor seems to be a lot more subtle and simple. With overhead lighting, area rugs, and accent chairs, this house also offers that cosy and homely feel. 

Sea-facing Backyard

One of the most impressive features of this property is the sea-facing backyard which is something you might have seen on Shahid Kapoor's Instagram feed as well. This was one spot where Misha posed for pictures with her dad. Well, that is quite obvious when you have a backyard that offers an unrestricted view of the Arabian Sea. The family also used the spot to unwind, host outdoor parties, family get-togethers, or simply to meditate or perform yoga poses. Shahid used this spot for his workout sessions as well. 

And today, one might catch a glimpse of Kartik Aaryan from the beach, working out at that very spot. Although the actor has not posted any pictures in his new abode, we might get to see how the actor has transformed this space based on his style and preferences. After all, Kartik has been dreaming of owning a sea-facing property in Mumbai for a long time. And by leasing Shahid Kapoor's property, he is halfway there!
