Sajjan Jindal once held the record for buying the costliest bungalow in the country, when he snapped up a sea-facing property for a whopping Rs. 400 crore. This bungalow has its own massive porch and a big garden and is located on Nepean Sea Road in South Mumbai, one of the city’s costliest and most exclusive areas. The three-storied bungalow covers more than an acre and was earlier known as Maheshwari House. It is located near the Consulate General of the Russian Federation and belonged to the Maheshwari business family. Another building called Maheshwari Mansion is owned by the same family who sold the bungalow to Sajjan Jindal and is located right in front of the exclusive bungalow, although it was not included in the transaction mentioned earlier. It has more than 40 tenants in three wings. 

Sajjan Jindal has reportedly renovated this bungalow extensively for his personal use. He used to previously stay at another lavish bungalow called Jindal House in South Mumbai’s Walkeshwar. The family still retains this bungalow for their personal use. While purchasing the iconic Maheshwari House, Sajjan Jindal was reportedly attempting to sell another mega mansion on Carmichael Road known as Morena House. This has now been developed into a luxury residential tower by his real estate company.

The new mansion showcases a lovely pearly-white texture and Romanesque façade, complete with a symmetrical design. This is a heritage-listed building and is very close to Peddar Road. The design was done by Edifice Consultants as a part of the renovation procedure, with a view towards retaining the heritage of the structure. Not much is known about Sajjan Jindal’s house in Delhi. However, the billionaire industrialist purchased a bungalow in 2004 on Prithviraj Road from four co-owners. He still holds ownership of this home in the exclusive and coveted Lutyens Bungalow Zone. 

Sajjan Jindal’s Holiday Home 

Sajjan Jindal is also the proud owner of a holiday estate in Mahabaleshwar. The estate is called Babington after a well-known vantage point amidst the mountains. The billionaire business tycoon often spends his birthdays and other occasions here, hosting parties for his family and close friends.
