No matter which part of the world you reside in, you must have heard of or come across Mukesh Ambani’s extravagant house named Antilla in Mumbai. And why not! It is the most expensive house in the world, followed only by Buckingham Palace. No wonder visitors from all across the world yearn for a glimpse of this 27-storeyed mansion. This was where Isha Ambani, Mukesh Ambani’s only daughter, resided until 2018. However, Isha now lives in Gulita, one of the country's most expensive properties.
From Antilia to Gulita, Isha Ambani’s address might have changed, but the young businesswoman has stepped into a new chapter of her life. While the world knows a lot about Antilia, there are still quite a few things people might want to know about Isha’s new house.
Isha married Anand Piramal - India’s 37th most prosperous businessman, in 2018, and Gulita was a wedding gift to the newly-wed couple. Anand’s parents - millionaires Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal, gifted the 5,00,000 square feet ultra-luxurious bungalow to the couple after they tied the knot.
According to reports, Anand Piramal's parents bought this property for a whopping USD 61.2 million in 2012. The deal made headlines as it was one of the most expensive properties for sale in Worli at that time!
It is also said that the property previously belonged to Hindustan Unilever. The Piramal family bought the house through an auction. After acquiring the property, the Piramals renovated and redesigned the house in 2015. The project was completed in 2018, and they soon obtained an occupancy certificate from BMC.
Gulita is located in the Worli locality in Bandra, undoubtedly one of Mumbai's poshest areas. The property overlooks the magnificent Arabian Sea and Bandra-Worli sea link and thus offers some of the most breathtaking views! And this is one of the many reasons why apartments in Worli are some of the most sought-after options in the city of dreams.
While Antilia is the most expensive house in the country, the Isha Ambani-Anand Parimal house also offers a lavish lifestyle. Although Gulita is not as expansive as the Ambani residence, Isha and Anand live in one of the most stunning houses in India. Previously owned by Hindustan Unilever, the Piramal family now owns the mansion, having bought it for a jaw-dropping amount of INR 450 crores. However, the price of Gulita is now estimated to be around INR 1000 crores.
The mansion's most prominent and noticeable infrastructural feature is its fabulous glass facade, along with three glazed steel structures that can be seen clearly from the exterior.
Spread across five floors, the luxurious abode features an enormous glass facade that is exclusively designed along the lines of a diamond-themed steel structure. This has been made possible with a 3D modelling design by a London-based engineering firm named Eckersley O'Callaghan that remodelled the house into the masterpiece that it is today.
Other than the five-floored high-rise building, the house also has three basements. The first basement offers a sprawling lawn that provides a breath of fresh air. The area also has an open-air water body along with a multi-purpose room. The ground floor has an entrance lobby, while the upper floors feature multiple living and dining halls, bedrooms, and studies.
When it comes to amenities, the word luxury is an understatement in Gulita! The mansion features the most ornate and opulent lighting structures, state-of-the-art furniture, high ceilings, and everything royal!
According to the reports from International Business Times, almost all décor items in the bungalow are imported from abroad. At the same time, there are several towering chandeliers that adorn different parts of the house.
Isha’s abode also houses several lounge areas, a garden, dressing rooms, and a swimming pool. There is also a dedicated diamond room and a temple room. And for all the luxurious cars the couple owns, there is also a three-floored basement parking area. Along with this, there are also separate servant quarters available on every floor so that the couple can get quick and easy assistance in their daily chores.
A few years back, Isha Ambani hosted an intimate get-together for her girl gang at Gulita. Some prominent personalities were invited, like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Parineeti Chopra, Srishti Behl Arya, Tamanna Dutt, and Radhika Merchant. The girls spent the night making ice cream in Isha’s humungous kitchen. They shared their pictures and experiences with fans through social media and seemed very excited to visit Isha Ambani’s new abode!
Isha Ambani's home in Worli is a magnificent display of opulence and grandeur. The luxurious property features state-of-the-art amenities, intricate design details, and an impressive collection of artworks. It's a clear reflection of the Ambani family's wealth and their appreciation for fine living. The home is a true testament to their success and the grandeur that comes with it.
